R&D Capability

We collaborate with prestigious universities, such as the University of Science and Technology of China and Zhejiang University, forming a high-quality research team comprised of PhDs (20%), Masters (40%), and Bachelors (40%). This enables the provision of customized solutions for high purity and battery grade lithium salts to global partners, covering research and development, pilot testing, and large-scale production.

With a development philosophy centered around “green and sustainable development”, we focus on the lithiation reaction synthesis processes of various chiral and heterocyclic compounds.

Operating under the Hefei Research Institute and Huaibei Engineering Application R&D Center, we boast a research team of over 50 high-quality personnel. Beyond the basic R&D and analytical staff, we actively collaborate with universities and enterprises, incorporating more than 10 research experts as technical advisors into the team.

Guided by the policy of technology leading the market, production, and research, we have rationally designed our two major research sectors, based on objectives and practical needs. The Hefei Research Institute is equipped with 10 synthesis laboratories and 3 analysis and testing laboratories. The Huaibei Engineering Application R&D Center houses 6 synthesis laboratories and 1 analysis and testing center (with 6 laboratories), featuring 10 triple-use UV analyzers, 20 rotary evaporators, 12 glass instrument air dryers, and various other equipment like electronic balances, vacuum drying ovens, blower drying ovens, and ice machines. The research sector is now capable of conducting a range of reaction types, including esterification, catalytic oxidation, chlorination, amination, and lithiation, providing support in route development, process R&D, pilot scale-up, process optimization, product customization, and quality standard development at the laboratory stage.

The Shanher Lithium Huaibei Production Base is well-equipped with a kilogram-scale laboratory and a pilot workshop. The kilogram-scale laboratory hosts 20 sets of 5-L glass reactors, 10 sets of 10-L glass reactors, and 10 sets of 50-L glass reactors. The pilot workshop, covering approximately 6,000 square meters, meets various regulatory requirements and is equipped with 6 pilot production lines and 50 sets of pilot equipment. These facilities offer customers from gram level to kilogram level and even to a hundred-kilogram level of process development and scale-up customized services.

The Huaibei Production Base houses 10 sets of ultra-low-temperature 6300-L lithiation reaction devices, supported by comprehensive alkyl lithium preparation, solvent recovery, and process water treatment facilities. This allows for quick and effective solutions to safety and environmental issues associated with lithiation reactions, such as transportation, storage, process control, and by-product recovery. We offer customization services for tonnage level lithiation reaction-related products.
